Further your graphic design experience by sharpening your skills in layout design. This course focuses on expanding your knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and introducing you to Adobe InDesign; industry standard software in publishing. Students spend the semester perfecting their knowledge of design principles to produce their own magazines. Concepts covered:

• Advanced compositing techniques through retro advertisements and comic book creation

• Design principles - Alignment, contrast, repetition, proximity

• Print design – flyers, postcards, exhibition guides, and advertisements

The final project is a full on magazine that the student developed from cover to cover!
