Cubist Portrait
Through our class discussion, you will create a cubist portrait based on the marks made on your papers in class.
This assignment will use these lines to create an outline of various shape fragments to create a 'collage' effect.
Use complimentary or analagous colours to create low/high contrast
You should use value to create depth (although not necessary in every shape)
You need to include a background for your portrait - erase the remaining pencil lines and create a gradient to help make the portrait POP!
Remember that cubism is a 'form' of realism. It should not be a representational work.
