Students will be making a self-portrait in the style of Roy Lichtenstein.
Must use ben-day dots in skin toned areas, other areas are to be solid primary colours. Dots must be as circular as possible.
Use simplification to create a 'comic book' style. Vary your black contours - thicker for outlines, thinner for details.
Thought/Speech bubble with text: words must be in ALL CAPS and must 'allude' to something - we want the viewer to think about the story behind the thought.
The facial expression/body posture must evoke an emotion that helps support the thought bubble. You can also use a prop to help!
A background (solid coloured or with supporting elements) must be present.
